Description
This report, prepared by the Systems Evaluation Division of the Institute for Defense Analysis, examines force employment during the 1970-1980 time period, particularly the effectiveness of United States offensive strategic weapons given new adversary defense systems and MIRV capabilities. The reports attempts to offer a comprehensive “study program” for the types of data bases and methodologies needed to more effectively evaluate US strategic capabilities.
